Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support reinsurance underwriters across Europe on all aspects of assessing rating and processing new and renewal business.
• Analyze reinsurance submissions from clients and accurately input relevant data into systems.
• Calculate and book premiums in underwriting systems issue policy documentation and manage processing of endorsements.
• Support risk evaluation and pricing through data analysis modeling and risk rating tools.
• Assist with maintain and building relationships with clients and brokers providing exceptional service and ensuring clear communication.
• Support to monitor market trends and developments to align underwriting strategies with emerging risks and opportunities.
• Assist with portfolio analysis and reporting to ensure alignment with organizational risk appetite and performance targets.
• Participate in internal training sessions to maintain uptodate knowledge of industry practices and regional regulations.

Qualifications Education & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in the European or international reinsurance or insurance industry.
• Prior experience of 34 years in underwriting (preferably insurance or reinsurance) is strongly preferred though experience in claims or brokerage is also acceptable.
• Completion of relevant industry certifications (e.g. CPCU CII or equivalent) is advantageous.

Knowledge Skills & Competencies:

• Fluent in English; proficiency in German and/or other European languages is a strong asset.
• Highly detailoriented organized and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative and teamoriented mindset.
• Selfmotivated and proactive with a willingness to take initiative and learn from feedback.
• Familiarity with reinsurance principles regulatory environments and market dynamics in Europe is a strong plus.
• Comfortable working with technology including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
• Ambition to progress within the organization with a desire to take on increasingly complex underwriting responsibilities.
