We are an inoffice company and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments. (Note: this is not applicable for EpiSci roles).
About the role
Applied Intuition has reached the 1k to 5k employees stage of growth so we are looking to hire a senior leader to help our recruiting function succeed at the next level. This position will manage and continue to build out a large chunk of our recruiting organization as it grows from 50 to 80 people and matures from startup spiness to large systems of scale. This is a onceinacareer opportunity to take on a senior leadership role at a generational growth company that remains on a nonlinear trajectory in the coming years. If successful in this role you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of the autonomous systems robotics automotive and defense industries in the decade to come.
At Applied Intuition you will:
- Partner with business and engineering leaders to develop comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to enable recruiting of top talent at scale
- Build and manage high performing recruiting teams capable of delivering consistent results to the business across both high volume and specialized roles
- Utilize data judgment and prior experience to effectively clientmanage multiple stakeholders including senior executives
- Anticipate problems with recruiting across the company and partner with senior leadership and executives to come up with solutions
- Work with recruiters and firstline recruiting managers to ensure closure of high priority candidates for critical roles (occasionally speaking with candidates yourself)
- Mentor and develop experienced recruiters and firstline managers so that they remain happy and growing
- Support special projects such as M&A and other strategic business outcomes
Were looking for someone who has:
- 12 years of technical recruiting experience with 6 years of experience managing large recruiting teams (including managing managers) at deeply technical organizations that are known for having a high bar for talent
- Exceptional client management skills spanning over multiple stakeholders including executives
- Experience leading teams at high growth companies that scaled quickly at the 1K5K employees stage of growth
Nice to have:
- Strong sales upbringing early in your career (ideally a fast trajectory at a reputable staffing agency)
- Experience working in the autonomous systems robotics and automotive industries
- Experience working at an early stage startup
Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary equity and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units comprehensive health dental vision life and disability insurance coverage 401k retirement benefits with employer match learning and wellness stipends and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.
Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience credentials & certifications educational attainment skill level requirements interview performance and the level and scope of the position.
The salary range for this position is $217000 $265000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary may vary based on the Companys compensation practices.
