Yellowstone Clubs Golf Maintenance department is currently seeking candidates for a Golf Course Maintenance Operator for the upcoming summer season! Our summer employment dates are May 1st October 1st.
The purpose of the Golf Course Maintenance Operator is to complete maintenance of the Yellowstone Club golf course grounds through manual labor operation of utility vehicles power equipment and other motorized equipment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Operates riding mowers walking greens and tee mowers aerifiers utility vehicles tractors and various machinery on the golf course.
- Manual labor including use of shovels rakes trimmers blowers hand mowers and edgers
- Reporting all abnormalities on the golf course such as debris disease or insect damage wet or dry areas and any hazardous situations in an immediate manner.
- Grade and prepare soil lay sod plant vegetative material
- Keeping shop and storage areas clean and organized.
- Perform other duties assigned related to the maintenance of the golf course.
Position Requirements:
- Previous work experience in landscaping or golf course maintenance preferred
- Valid State Drivers License
- Ability to safely lift carry pull or push 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand or work on their feet for extended periods of time
- Work outside in various environmental conditions
- Ability to see hear smell and have manual dexterity to use all equipment
The position offered is a seasonal position located in Big Sky Montana.
Compensation:
Base rate $20/ hr. Overtime paid at time and a half; Starting wages based on proven previous experience
