Exciting Opportunity: FullTime Director of Annual Giving at Notre Dame Academy!Join us at Notre Dame Academy Hingham an allfemale college preparatory high school dedicated to empowering young women in grades 612. As a vibrant Catholic learning community sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur we focus on personal faith formation academic excellence and social responsibility.The Director of Annual Giving manages a portfolio of prospects including alumnae current parents past parents and grandparents to cultivate solicit and steward them for gifts to the Fund for NDA (annual fund/unrestricted support). This position reports to the Executive Director of Advancement and works closely with the other members of the Advancement team including the Director of Alumnae and Parent Engagement and the Director of Operations and Stewardship. The school benefits from a philanthropically inclined prospect pool with great potential to invest in the school. The Director of Annual Giving takes an entrepreneurial approach to the work implement best practices in annual giving and embracing the traditions and culture that make NDA a special place in the hearts and minds of its supporters. Offerings:Comprehensive Health Benefits: Health dental and vision insurance to support you and your family.Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA): We cover 60 of the first part of your deductible to ease your healthcare costs.Generous Paid Time Off:o4 weeks of vacation to rechargeo4 personal days for your wellbeingo6 sick days to take care of yourself when neededoPaid Family Medical Leave to support you during significant life eventsKey Responsibilities:Plan and implement the schools annual fundraising strategy for the Fund for NDA that supports the annual operating budget and the schools strategic plan.Manage a portfolio of annual giving prospects and partner with theDirector of Alumnae and Parent Engagement to identify and solicit additional annual gift prospects of increasing levels of capacity.Serve as lead for the annual Night of NDA Gala the largest single source of annual unrestricted dollars. Serve as lead for the Senior Class Gift in engaging parents to give.Lead the effort to create annual fund solicitation strategies via mail and email for key appeals including Giving Tuesday and end of calendar year.Recruit train and develop leadership volunteers to assist with the annual fund program.Work with the Director of Operations and Stewardship and other teammates to ensureaccurate and complete Advancement database records.With the Advancement team partner with the Communications team to develop and manage a robust and comprehensive annual fund solicitation communication schedule andensure it aligns with all school communications.Utilize donor engagement and wealth screening to enable datadriven decision making.Produce comprehensive fund appeal and event revenue reports on annual fund activities to demonstrate impact and inform future planning. Support the Executive Director of Advancement in preparing such reports for the Advancement Committee of the Board.Assist with the production of the Schools Annual Report.Additional duties as required.Qualifications:Bachelors degree required Masters degree preferred. At least 35 years of demonstrated experience in direct fundraising.Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue goalsExperience in strengthening an annual giving program using strategy and creativity.Ability to recruit motivate and manage volunteers including alumnae parents and students. A strategic mindset. Personal accountability.A positive attitude and a value in developing solutions to challenges. A collaborative spirit and ability to thrive in a team environment.Flexibility and initiative as well as the ability to work independently.High professional and ethical standards for handling confidential information.Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and organize and complete action items with close attention to detail.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong technology skills and knowledge of database research and maintenance.Commitment to working evenings and weekends throughout the year and periodic travel.
