What youll do:
We are seeking an individual with a growth mindset to build and execute initiatives to support commercialization and venture creation primarily out of Federal labs and research institutions. Projects will include supporting novel new incubation programs for innovations in the energy climate and life science sectors.
- Plan allocate resources and actively manage program budgets project plans and client relationships across diverse stakeholders including government and industry ensuring successful at all stages.
- Lead daytoday operations of stakeholder relations and innovation activities ensuring smooth of complex workstreams such as tech due diligence crossprogram coordination mentoring guest speakers and immersion experiences.
- Organize and host community engagement events bringing together innovators entrepreneurs industry leaders and investors to foster collaboration.
- Stand up new venture incubation programs tailored to earlystage ventures within FedTechs portfolio identifying latent demand within defense and civilian markets that can be addressed by federally funded R&D.
- Advise deep tech startups in business model development ensuring successful commercialization and growth.
- Manage and develop team members by fostering a collaborative environment setting clear performance expectations providing mentorship and supporting professional growth.
- Support multitiered entrepreneurship education and coaching programs assisting with product development due diligence company formation and funding for inventors and entrepreneurs.
- Identify and engage new support organizations and individuals to enhance incubation services.
- Participate in professional development activities like human centered design new product development business/finance and entrepreneurship. We are 100 committed to growing your skill set.
Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with 10 years of experience or masters degree with 7 years of experience in business engineering science or a related field.
- Experience in venture growth or project/program management including 5 years in entrepreneurship or innovation programming (e.g. leading accelerators/incubators or operations in a venturebacked company)
- 5 years in the energy climate or life sciences sectors with experience engaging state/federal agencies investors and industry partners.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize client needs and align program design and with client and project objectives.
- Strong passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change.
- P&L ownership experience preferred.
- A connector adept at building relationships across diverse groups and a strong communicator skilled in leading meetings and delivering presentations on complex topics.
- Detailoriented with a proven ability to manage programs efficiently and deliver ontime results in fastpaced environments.
- Curious empathetic and methodical approach to problemsolving.

Compensation:
- Base Salary Range: $108000$124000
- Ability to earn upside bonus and equity rapid career progression

Location:
The position can be set up as a hybrid work arrangement in either of the following locations:
- 3 days in person at our headquarters in Arlington VA and 2 days remote
- 2 days in person at our office in Boston MA and 3 days remote
