Aegis Aged Care Group is looking for a Physiotherapist who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our deserving Residents. The role offers an opportunity to provide high quality evidencebased Physiotherapy services founded on our philosophy of Resident centred holistic care. In your daytoday role you will be responsible for assessing the physical and psychosocial functioning of Residents. You will work alongside Residents and those that are important to them. Identifying their Physiotherapy goals needs and preferences. Ensuring all parties are kept informed of the Residentled goal directed care planning within a multiskilled environment that is focused on the reablement of our Residents.

Physiotherapists understand how important good physical functioning and heathy aging are to peoples sense of wellbeing. You will be responsible for ensuring highquality services are provided by the Therapy Team which meets the physical and psychosocial needs of our Residents.

As a Physiotherapist with Aegis no two days will look the same! You will benefit from a diverse caseload that allows you to apply a broad range of your core skills. Including but not limited to assessing monitoring and making recommendations in relation to:

  • Falls Prevention trending analysis management and postfall review.
  • Musculoskeletal assessment and management.
  • Evidencebased pain management (acute and chronic).
  • Mobility.
  • Exercise prescription (Physitrack subscription available).
  • Functional retraining and rehabilitation.
  • Equipment provision.
  • Promote health and education around Cardiovascular and Respiratory rehabilitation.
  • Continence bowel and pelvic health.
  • Positioning.
  • Manuel tasks and transfers.
  • Oedema Management.
  • Advocate for Residents through supporting choice and mitigating risk processes.
  • Training and Education.
  • Quality monitoring practices and continuous improvement.

To excel at this role you will be supported by a team of Senior Clinicians with the opportunity to participate in peer support activities. Ensuring opportunities for personal and professional growth.

About the Facility:

Located in Central Highgate close to the Perth CBD Aegis Lincoln Park offers Low and High Care with ageing in place where possible.

Aegis Lincoln Park offers a range of accommodation and lifestyle options for 46 residents in four areas to complement a vibrant community in caring for the elderly. Of these rooms 14 have ensuite bathrooms. The wings all have dining areas and access to gardens and patio areas.

About You:

  • Hold a genuine interest in working with older people.
  • Passion for enablement and rehabilitation.
  • Customer service ethos with a focus on providing a comprehensive and meaningful Physiotherapy Service to all Residents.
  • Have a strong attention to detail and solution focussed problem solving skills.
  • An appetite for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Welldeveloped verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • Physiotherapy qualification and AHPRA registration.
  • Have a full Australian working rights and be able topassnational policeclearance.
  • Possess a valid Drivers Licence.
