Job Description

As the Purchasing Intern you will gain handson experience supporting key purchasing and quality initiatives with opportunities to collaborate across departments including Engineering Quality and Materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with identifying and coordinating costsaving initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
  • Support the Purchasing and Quality teams as well as internal stakeholders by providing data analysis documentation and process updates.
  • Maintain and update costtracking summaries; ensure accurate communication with relevant team members.
  • Conduct audits of purchase orders (back details and communication)
  • Help maintain compliance documents within the purchasing master list.
  • Coordinate sample parts with the Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
  • Support engineering change processes and engineeringtoorder activities.
  • Collaborate with the Materials team on ongoing and upcoming projects.

    Qualifications :

    Qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or a recent graduate pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Operations or a related field
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills required
    • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on communication collaboration and active listening
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fastpaced environment
