Position Description
The Arc of the St. Johns Inc. is looking for a fulltime Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Counselor for our Jacksonville Beach location.Educational requirements: A bachelors degree from an accredited university or college with a major in counseling social work psychology nursing rehabilitation special education health education or a related social services field or is a Certified Behavioral Health Technician.
This individual will lead groups educating individuals to facilitate social skills vocational skills support systems and independent living skills. They should be detailoriented creative possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as computer skills in order to complete required documentation for the program.
The Arc of the St. Johns Inc. offers a competitive wage and flexible schedule. This position is ONSITE from MondayFriday 8am4pm. The PSR staff run counseling groups and then complete paperwork and notes with a companyprovided laptop and help with supervision of the overall program during the day.
