We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join our friendly team at Mama Bears Day Nursery Torquay. Our nursery is a lovely purposebuilt outstanding childcare setting located on the grounds of St Margarets Academy.
The nursery is divided into two rooms; the Under 2s Room and the Over 2s Room and is full of lovely agespecific toys and resources that capture our childrens imaginations and encourage their creativity.
The outdoor play area offers children a fun environment to make their first discoveries and supports them on their learning journeys. We love going outside as much as possible and our staff are brilliant at developing fresh activities for the children.
As Deputy Manager you will join the leadership team and support with the management of the nursery where you will lead a team of dedicated staff ensuring the highest standard and quality of care.
To be considered for the role you must demonstrate the following:
- Previous supervisory experience within an Early Years Setting
- Hold a Full and Relevant Level 3 Early Years Qualification as a minimum
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
- Strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of Ofsted standards Health & Safety and Child Protection Legislation
This role is a full time position 40 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary dependent on qualifications and experience. Generous benefits include 28 days holiday per year on going training and development free uniform free lunch 50 childcare discount and a company pension scheme.
