Job Description
Title: Structural Engineer
Location: Portage MI
Engineering Design Solutions (EDS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. We are a leading engineering consulting firm specializing in innovative and costeffective structural design solutions for a variety of industries. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the growth of a dynamic company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee structural retrofit projects.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project success.
- Conduct site visits and assessments.
- Provide mentorship and guidance within the team.
- Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering.
- Licensed Structural Engineer (or nearlicense) in the state of practice.
- Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering design and analysis preferred.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule 2 days in office/3 days remote).
- Openness to learning and teaching in areas such as food & science and pharmaceutical experience even if not previously experienced in these fields.
