Bridge Engineer
Location: Charlotte NC
We are looking for an experienced and driven Bridge Engineer to join our Charlotte NC office. This role offers the chance to work on impactful local and State DOT bridge projects and contribute to innovative infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bridge Analysis & Design: Conduct analysis design and detailing for local and State DOT bridge projects under the guidance of Senior Engineers.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare project reports perform field reconnaissance and conduct inspections as needed.
- Collaboration: Attend project meetings and industry conferences to stay aligned with project goals and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from an ABETaccredited program.
- Experience: 25 years in bridge engineering; experience with Charlotte DOT and local bridge projects is a plus.
- Licenses & Skills:
- PE License required.
- Proficiency in engineering software (MicroStation AutoCAD SAP2000 Midas Civil EnerCalc MathCAD).
- Familiarity with reinforced concrete and steel design.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel).
