Job Description
Requirements
- High School degree. Bachelors Degree strongly preferred
- Secret clearance or above (T3/T3R investigation)
- Six 6 years of professional experience in relation to NEN programming including Network Enterprise Tool (NET) CLIN offerings and NEN ordering
- CompTIA Security or equivalent IAT II certifications
Responsibilities
- Utilize diagnostic methods to identify issues analyze root causes and recommend solutions for resolving common hardware software and network failures.
- Support users with data migrations during system upgrades or Tech Refresh events.
- Monitor the organizations shared mailbox to ensure timely responses and support for user assistance requests.
- Manage public folders including assigning permissions and administrator roles as needed.
- Oversee shared drive administration including user training for content managers and responsibilities related to configuration management.
- Maintain and enhance IT procedures that support organizational operations and best practices.
- Assist with Information Management (IM) Information Technology (IT) and Information Assurance (IA) data calls as required by the Department Information Officer (DIO).
- Contribute to the development and submission of monthly progress and status reports.
- Coordinate and maintain current documentation for the Navy Enterprise Network (NEN) site.
- Update and manage the NET asset database to ensure accurate tracking of IT inventory.
- Assist in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all NETrelated processes
