Job Description
- Provide leadership in the communication implementation coordination and enforcement of overall GSM and Commodity strategies
- Develop Execute and Report Budget for NA Friction supplier spend
- Manages talent development through mentorship and leadership of NA Friction GSM team
- Leads the GSM team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Directs and coordinates GSM functions through strategy resource optimization profitability maximization and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
- Plans manages and coordinates all activities related to Direct and Indirect sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand at all stages of the Program / Project (Launch Production Service etc.
- Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes.
- Participates crossfunctionally with the product development marketing and sales teams providing information and guidance on availability and cost of supplies and materials.
- Aligns NA Friction GSM strategies with Regional GSM and Global Commodity teams
- Monitors the performance of suppliers assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with manager and other departments.
- Supports proper utilization of various ERP and GSM systems like SAP iVALUA
