Job Description
Veza is seeking a Sr. Director / VP of Finance with deep experience in scaling high growth SaaS companies and passionate about driving strategic financial and operational strategy in a dynamic fastpaced startup. This is a handson role who will lead all aspects of the Finance & Accounting function.
You Will:
- Lead end to end Finance and Accounting including financial and strategic planning and analysis finance and accounting operations financial reporting compliance & risk management payroll treasury audit and tax
- Partner with the CEO and Executive team to develop and execute Vezas financial strategy ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Drive performance management tied to key metrics that provide a forwardlooking view into trends requiring management decisions and action
- Lead budgeting forecasting and financial modeling to support datadriven decisionmaking. Drive long range planning in alignment with growth objectives.
- Lead accounting operations financial reporting and audits to ensure accuracy compliance and efficiency.
- Manage legal and compliance operations including oversight of internal legal team and managing relationship with external corporate counsel
- Support Board matters including preparation and coordination of board meeting agendas and content. Present financial results and insight to the board
- Support fundraising efforts and manage relationships with investors.
- Build and scale financial operating rhythm including implementation of financial systems and and enhancing operational processes and reporting capabilities to
- Attract develop and retain a high performing team to meet the current and evolving needs of the business through effective selection training and development coaching and mentoring and performance management
You Have
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in relevant discipline required; Masters degree a plus
- Experience:
- 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience preferably in highgrowth SaaS start ups
- Deep expertise in SaaS financial metrics financial models and ARR growth strategies.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) financial regulations and corporate governance.
- Experience in fundraising (venture capital or private equity) and M&A activities.
- Proven ability to lead and scale finance and accounting functions in a dynamic startup environment.
- Excellent strategic thinking analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities with a track record of partnering effectively with executives and crossfunctional teams.
- Strong negotiating skills and the ability to influence others.
- Sound judgment with a high level of integrity to execute with significant financial impact
- Growthoriented mindset and entrepreneurial management style with the ability to focus on company growth strategy
- Organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet critical deadlines
- Selfdirected; takes initiative proactively addresses problems

At Veza your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position the reasonably expected pay range can be discussed with your recruiter for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors including your experience qualifications education location and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for equity and a competitive benefits package.
