The Manager Global Technical Services will lead a team of Solution Engineers. You and your team will be responsible for delivering services to our Asia Pacific customers. You will partner closely with the Asia Pacific Sales and Field Engineering organization to determine the right set of engagements with customers to drive growth and efficiency. You will report to the Area Vice President Global Technical Services.
The impact you will have with us:
- Manage hiring and building the Global Technical Services team in Asia Pacific scaling the organization and driving efficiency.
- Build a motivated collaborative culture within a hypergrowth team to embody and promote Databricks customerobsessed teamwork and diverse culture.
- Manage the distribution and allocation of work across the team.
- Build partnerships with cross functional stakeholders across Field Engineering and Sales to position services that drive customer growth and product adoption.
- Conduct operational reviews of the teams deliverables to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and outcomes.
What we look for:
- 2 years of experience in leading a team of successful professionals in Data and AI or Cloud in a technology or consulting organization.
- Have experience scaling and mentoring field or technical teams from scratch at hypergrowth speed.
- Knowledgeable in and passionate about datadriven decisions AI and Cloud software models
- Great at instituting processes for technical field members to lead efficiency
- Technical background either in Data & AI or Cloud technologies
