Job Description
1 Resource Group is seeking a Senior Service Manager to join our clients team in the site service equipment rental and equipment service industry in Harrison Ohio. This pivotal role will oversee service operations ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction through the effective management of service delivery and personnel. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in service management capable of leading teams and implementing operational improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the service department driving performance and ensuring adherence to service standards.
- Develop and implement effective service strategies to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Recruit train and mentor service staff fostering a highperformance culture.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and address any servicerelated concerns promptly.
- Monitor service metrics and generate reports for management review.
- Collaborate with sales engineering and product management teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Continuously assess and improve service processes and workflows.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in service management preferably in the equipment rental or construction industry.

- Familiarity with hydraulics electrical systems and schematics pneumatics drivetrains and diesel/gasoline engines.Workload schedulingQA/QC best practicesInventory control best practicesHealth Safety & Environmental (HSE) best practicesDepartmental budgetingFamiliarity with the Automotive construction tool supply and/or equipment rental industryIntermediate computer and software skills/Microsoft Office Suite
