The CORE Institute is seeking highly qualified neurologists who wish to be part of a dynamic and integrated team dedicated to delivering the best in musculoskeletal healthcare in our Arizona markets. Key Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools such as MRI CT scans Xrays and other imaging modalities to identify spinal disorders.
  • Develop and discuss appropriate treatment plans with patients including surgical and nonsurgical options.

Interventional Procedures:

  • Perform minimally invasive spine procedures such as epidural steroid injections facet joint injections radiofrequency ablations and spinal cord stimulator placements.
  • Conduct advanced surgical techniques including decompressions fusions and disc replacements.
  • Ensure the use of sterile techniques and adherence to best practices in the operating room.
  • Postoperative Care and FollowUp:
  • Monitor patients recovery and manage postoperative complications.
  • Provide comprehensive postoperative care instructions and coordinate followup appointments.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare providers to optimize patient recovery.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including neurologists pain management specialists physical therapists and radiologists.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families about diagnoses treatment options and recovery plans.
  • Participate in case discussions medical rounds and team meetings.

Research and Education:

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in spinal surgery and interventional techniques.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to research activities.
  • Educate medical students residents and fellows through lectures and handson training.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies medical regulations and quality standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery
  • Licensure/Certification
  • Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery Neurosurgery or Pain Management.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Insert Location.
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Experience:

  • Proven experience in performing interventional spine procedures and surgeries.
  • Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and treating spinal disorders.
    • Skills:
  • Excellent manual dexterity and handeye coordination.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
