POSITIONSUMMARY:
Thisposition supports the work of the YMCA of Collier County Inc. a leadingnotforprofit organization committed to strengthening the communities in CollierCounty through its core focus areas of Youth Development Healthy Living andSocial Responsibility. The School AgeProgram Assistant Manager assists with the development and operations of theoverall school age programs at each designated site ensuring the programs meettheir intended goals. Responsible forassisting the School Age Manager in daytoday general administration of theprograms and ensuring that sites meet all YMCA state and county licensingrequirements. This position works withtheir supervisor to provide direction and leadership for the achievement ofAssociation goals in accordance with the policies procedures and standardsestablished by the Board.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS:
Administers leads and manages the total operations of schoolageout of school programs at designated sites including developing and monitoringthe program budget to meet fiscal objectives; compiling program statistics tomonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of and participation in the program;securing scheduling and maintaining the needed facilities; creating andscheduling the activities or events; assuring staffing coverage andmaintaining programs records or files.
Under the guidance of the School Age Manager this position ensuresprogram services meet community needs and quality programming requirements andto include supervising existing program activities establishing new programactivities and expanding the program within the community as needed.
Assists in the marketing and distribution of program information.
Assures compliance with federal state and local regulations asthey relate to program areas including ADA accommodations where appropriate;ensures that YMCA program standards are met and safety procedures arefollowed. Ensures sites meet alllicensing requirements with DCF ELC and any other contracted entities.
Responsible for monitoring collection of fees and working withSite Supervisors to ensure all programs have zero outstanding balances.
Under the direction of the School Age Manager is responsible for assistingwith program plans and records to ensure consistency with evidencebased bestpractices and policies are followed.This includes oversight into ensuring accurate records of each employeeand volunteer which includes the responsibility for maintaining all electronicrecords in accordance with YMCA of Collier County policies and procedures.
Responsible for effectively handling all emergency incidents andsubmitting proper documentation.
Must assist with grant reporting finding grants for programs andensuring all grant requirements are met.
Responsible for working with the School Age Manager to completestaff scheduling daily ensuring all groups at all locations are covered and incompliance with mandated ratios as well as knowledge of program contracts orother requirements that are required to be met.
Must be able to fill in as a sub at any location if appropriatecoverage is not met.
Nurture children by designing plans curriculum themes andactivities that include purposeful programming that develops socialemotionalskills fosters achievement supports academic growth and provides enrichment.
Engage in and support association programs and activities.
Models relationshipbuilding skills in all interactions; developsand maintains collaborative relationships with staff parents and caregiversand community organizations (e.g. state child care licensing agency schooladministration) to maximize program impact and drive overall outcomes;maintains regular clear and concise communication within areas ofresponsibility.
Organizes or participates in Y activities such as committeesspecial events and fundraising. Aminimum of 4 per year.
During nonschool days acts as a lead Site Director in camp programs.
Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelorsdegree in related field or equivalent experience.
YMCATeam Leader certification preferred.
Oneto two years related experience (e.g. supervisor or coordinator of child careprograms) preferred.
DirectorsCredentials required.
Minimumage of 21.
Fulfillmentof statespecific hiring standards and completion of YMCA programspecifictraining.
Abilityto relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economicsegments of the community.

Must be able to meet the Associationsbackground screening requirements.
Certificates/Licenses:Must have or be enrolled in state mandated training within 30 days ofemployment. Training must be completewithin the first 60 days of employment.Florida Director Credential preferred.CPR/AED and First Aid required within the first 90 days ofemployment. Must meet YMCA driving criteria.
Skills: Must be ableto supervise coach and manage staff.Must be able to supervise and instruct large groups of children. Knowledge of sports and childrensprogramming preferred. Must be extremelyorganized task oriented flexible able to work under pressure make assigneddeadlines and able to communicate effectively.Must be knowledgeable in YMCA software programs and able to utilize theGoogle Drive.
