Automotive Alignment Technician

Job Responsibilities:
- Dismounting mounting handling s (or takeofftires) and balancing of all tires on customers vehicles
- Performs wheel alignments and various related adjustments on vehicles and properly align vehicle as per company specifications
- Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
- Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension braking air conditioning etc. to specification
- Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
- Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a nontechnical manner to service advisors and customers
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology
- Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made
Requirements:
- 2 years of stable Auto Mechanic work history
- Certificationspreferredbut not required
- Team oriented flexible and focused on maintaining an elevated level of customer service
- Great technical knowledge of shop equipment such as alignment systems scan/diagnostic equipment brake lathes strut compressors and wheel and tire equipment
- Havea valid drivers license with no suspensions or major traffic violations
