Job Description
The Department of Mathematics at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship supervised by Professor Bernd Siebert in the research area of mirror symmetry and related topics. The expected opening is for Fall 2025. We are interested in candidates who will contribute to excellence in mentoring through teaching research and service. The appointment will be for three years with a teaching load of 1/1 per long semester. The annual 9 month salary is $60000 with health and retirement benefits. In addition to the 9month salary the appointment offers three months summer salary with a total of $10000 for each summer sessionand 2028.
To ensure full consideration for the academic year of 202526 all materials should arrive by December 1 2024.
Ph.D. by July 15 2025.
