Job Description

On behalf of our partner agency in Switzerland we are looking for a warm hearted fun and energetic nanny who is very interested in childrens development who loves being outdoors and who has a passion for international travel.

They are looking for a nanny / nannyhousekeeper who is native level fluent in Spanish.

This is a sporty active outdoorsy family and to fit well with them their nanny also needs to be active and outdoorsy.

The nanny who helps them at the moment only works 2 days per week and as mum takes on more work she now needs a lot more childcare support.

The family employs cleaners who come 2 times each week but they would like the nanny to support with basic household tasks. It is just mum and child at home most of the time and nanny so a small household. The cleaners can also clean the nannys room if she wishes.

This is a fantastic job and we are very excited to put forward good suitable nannies.

Responsibilities: Provide care supervision and engage children with ageappropriate activities. Handle daily childcare duties such as day care runs preparing meals and snacks. Manage household tasks like laundry or grocery shopping. Ability and willingness to travel 34 months per year since we have various holiday homes around the globe.

We own a standalone house in Wollerau which is a 20min car drive or 30min train ride from Zurich city center.It has a small garden and is located hillside with beautiful views of lake Zurich from all levels.

Will your new employee be required to travel with you

Yes. We travel in total 34 months per year.

When the employee is not on vacation we expect them to travel with us on weekendtrips in and around Europe as well as trips to our vacation homes in Austria Spain and Thailand. Trips to the vacation homes can easily last 46 weeks.

In the family home own bathroom. On a separate level to the parents and child so there is privacy and a separation.

Requirements

Native level fluency in Spanish. Must speak English as the family travels to a lot of English speaking destination and there is also a large international community in their area and everyone communicates in English. German could be helpful but not a requirement.

Driver preferred but not essential

Warm easygoing and kind personality with a genuine love for children.

Must be very active and outdoorsy and must be able to swim (house on the beach in Thailand)

Nonsmoking position.

Strong communication skills

Be comfortable in nanny job which is 50/50 sole charge and shared care.

Plenty of experience caring for 2 year olds who love going outside every day whatever the weather.

with the ability to plan engaging ageappropriate activities.

Patient and creative in engaging young children introducing games and spending time outdoors.

Physically active and enjoys outdoor activities

Flexible and adaptable to the familys schedule including occasional changes in parents work hours or plans.

Excellent organisational skills and experience packing and unpacking travelling with children and families.

Ability to maintain a clean and organized personal space if living in.

Ability to work collaboratively with parents when they are present at home.

Up to date criminal background check.

Full driving licence and able to drive locally preferred not a requirement

Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate

Right to work in Switzerland (EU or Swiss passport)

Good references for recent and relevant nanny work

Childcare qualifications

Able to run after and lift small children

The house is on different levels and there are steps between the different floors.
