In addition millwrights may work on larger projects such as repairing and maintaining cylinders belts conveyors chains motors and valves and fabricating new equipment.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; work in high precarious places; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (nonweather); extreme heat (nonweather) and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (nonweather) and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Position Type/Travel/Schedule
This is a fulltime position and overtime work may be required as projects or job duties demand.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
