Job Description
Gundersen Health System in La Crosse WI is seeking a .8 FTE Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join ourestablished Preadmissions Department. Gundersen is an award winning integrated health system employing over 500 physicians.
Practice highlights:
- Enjoy a Monday through Friday daytime scheduleno nights no weekends no call
- Work collaboratively with the support and collegiality of our anesthesiology surgery primary care subspecialty consultative services nursing and pharmacy teams to assess risk and medically optimize patients prior to undergoing procedures
- This practice is shared with a team of advanced practice providers

Must have completed an accredited program and be eligible to obtain a license to practice in our multistate region with no restrictions or limitations. Advanced practice clinicians work under the direct supervision of a physician. Clinician staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system. Teaching students residents fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all clinicians.
