Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and creating a stimulating environment for childrens growth TES Staffing is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher Aides to join our dynamic team supporting daycare centers across the greater Rochester area including Greece Henrietta Pittsford Fairport Farmington Victor Browncroft Clinton Highland Park Gates and Irondequoit!
Your Role:
As a Teacher Aide youll play a vital role in fostering a safe nurturing and educational environment where children can thrive. Youll assist in supervising and managing a classroom ensuring each child grows at their own pace and develops socially physically emotionally and cognitively.
Who Youll Work With:
Youll report to the Classroom Head Teacher or Teacher and work closely with a team of dedicated professionals while also taking initiative and managing your responsibilities independently.
What Were Looking For:
- Attentive and responsive to childrens needs able to handle emergencies and conflicts in various settings.
- Physically capable of lifting 30 pounds and moving quickly to ensure child safety.
- Able to engage with children at their level including sitting on the floor and maintaining eye contact.
- In good health with a physicians statement and proof of being free of tuberculosis.
- New York State Registry and Criminal History Fingerprint clearance.
- At least 18 years of age.

Your Responsibilities:
- Create a Safe and Fun Environment: Adhere to all Center policies and NY State regulations ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children.
- Engage and Educate: Assist in planning and implementing ageappropriate activities that foster development in line with NAEYC philosophy.
- Be a Positive Role Model: Interact with children in a respectful and encouraging manner fostering a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Build Relationships: Develop strong connections with parents and communicate regularly to support each childs growth.
- Stay Organized: Maintain classroom records assist with housekeeping and support overall Center operations.
- Grow Professionally: Complete 15 hours of early childhood training within the first 6 months and annually while maintaining an uptodate Aspire account with QualitystarsNY.
What You Bring:
- Knowledge of NYS child care regulations and NAEYC guidelines.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with children coworkers and parents.
- Creativity patience and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility in scheduling and practice to meet the needs of the program.
- A high school diploma (or equivalent) and a commitment to fostering childrens development.
- Preferred: At least one year of experience working with children.
