National Grid is seeking Lead Data Engineers to join our team.

GridStack is a cohesive technology ecosystem that consists of a suite of platform products and services designed to make building digital products as smooth as possible. It includes products for InfrastructureasCode Continuous Testing and Deployment API Management and Modular Data Services (and more!. Moreover GridStack provides the foundational capabilities to support autonomous delivery of business product teams.

Key Accountabilities
What youll be doing
- Leading an engineering team within a given product
- Managing the endtoend technology
- Designing and developing conceptual logical and physical data models
- Ensuring selection of appropriate technology efficient use of resources and integration of multiple systems and technology
- Actively engaging in sprint planning delivery and managing the releases
- Driving the adoption of best practices for data architecture data standards and data security
- Acting as a mentor to development and business teams on data architecture design and requirements
What will make you successful
- Proven ability to set technical vision build technical product roadmaps and drive continuous product improvements
- Expertise in designing building and operating distributed systems
- Proven experience in service delivery through development and maintenance of software solutions
Qualifications
- 57 years of experience with data platform engineering data pipeline development
- Demonstrated experience leading project teams and setting technical direction
