Peripatetic Registered Nurse Gloucestershire
Location: Gloucestershire
Pay Rate: 23.50 per hour
Hours: 37.5 per week
Requirement: Must be a driver with access to a vehicle
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Peripatetic Staff Nurse to provide highquality nursing care across multiple care homes in Gloucestershire. This role is essential in ensuring consistent care by covering shifts due to vacancies staff absences or annual leave. Additionally you will play a key role in mentoring and supporting nursing teams helping to maintain best practices and high standards of care.
What Were Looking For
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with active NMC registration
- Postregistration experience with a commitment to continuous professional development (CPD)
- Strong clinical skills including medication management and wound care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff residents and families
- Ability to adapt quickly to different care settings and work independently
- Full UK drivers license and access to a vehicle as travel between sites is required
- Flexibility to work any five out of seven days including weekends to meet the needs of the service

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver highquality nursing care across various care home settings
- Assess plan implement and evaluate care plans to ensure the best outcomes for residents
- Mentor support and guide new and existing nursing staff fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Work flexibly and autonomously to cover shifts as required ensuring a seamless service for residents
- Maintain accurate clinical records ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams including GPs and allied health professionals to provide holistic care
- Uphold best practices and high standards of resident care ensuring dignity respect and personcentred support
