Direct Support Professional Adult IDD Day Services
$250 Hiring Bonus!

GoodLife Innovations is seeking Direct Support Professionals to lead centerbased and communitybased activities and support the persons served in our Lenexa Day Services program!
As a Day ServicesDirect Support Professional you will lead preplanned activity classes facilitate group community outings and support positive behaviors. Your days will be spent in our Day Service Center out in the community and in residential programs to assist with client goals and personal care needs.

As a Day ServicesDirect Support Professional you will lead preplanned activity classes facilitate group community outings and support positive behaviors. Your days will be spent in our Day Service Center out in the community and in residential programs to assist with client goals and personal care needs.
EntryLevel Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must have a valid drivers license and safe driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs to physically assist individuals
- Flexibility in assigned working location based on client needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous direct support caregiving or teaching experience ideally in a therapeutic setting
- Experience working with clients with disruptive behaviors
Schedules Available: MondayFriday
- 8am 4pm
- 8:30am 4:30pm
Some Duties Include:
- Leading preplanned activity classes (art cooking music life skills)
- Facilitating safe and fun community outings (bowling volunteering museums library)
- Assisting persons served to actively engage and appropriately participate in group activities
- Prompting or fully supporting with personal care needs (toileting meals)
- Documenting daily activities
