Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking an experienced and resourceful Business Analyst to join our growing team in the United Kingdom and Europe. As a Business Analyst you will have the unique opportunity to define and drive the launch of new applications and services within our worldclass company. With a focus on eliciting business requirements and translating them into use cases or user stories you will work closely with the solutioning team to successfully implement highquality products that increase company revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with global commercial services partners and customers to drive project features from concept to launch in a fastpaced environment.
- Work with multifunctional teams and various partners including analytics UI/UX engineering and user enablement.
- Regularly evaluate organizational needs establish priorities define key goals and recognize potential advantages and risks.
- Partner with team members and customers across the organization to form the product vision strategy features and prioritization.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree (BA or BS) in business analysis computer science or equivalent experience.
- Two years of previous experience as a product owner or business analyst.
- Agile mentality with proven values such as dedication grit openness and respect.
- Excitement for experimentation and rapid learning.
- Ability to work optimally with global teams in different time zones.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including teamwork facilitation and negotiation.
- Excellent analytical and technical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Solid experience of creating solution designs and supporting the delivery of supply chain technology within distribution sector
- Exposure to full lifecycle experience of complex environments with a mixture of inhouse developed software and off the shelf solutions.
- Leadership ability with a proven understanding of business and technology requirements to integrate and implement solutions optimally.
- Understanding of order to cash processes along with exposure to supply chain and distribution operations.
- Exposure to ERP/Warehouse management system implementations golive activities including UAT support supervising cutover plans and providing support to business to adapt to new change would be an asset.
