Responsibilities
Greet incoming service customers
Treat every visitor to the dealership as our guest regardless of dress style or race
Ensure that each customers experience meets Van Bortel Standards
Monitor service waiting area
Schedule appointments for service customers
Work closely with service advisors and porters to assist customers dropping off and picking up vehicles
Open and close rental agreements tracking use of rental fleet
- Process cash and credit transactions for service customers
- Prepare service invoices for review by warranty department
- File service invoices and daily paperwork
Work cooperatively with other departmentsand internal teams
Maintain a tasteful wellgroomed and professional appearance in keeping with Van Bortel Standards
Ensure that service areas are clutterfree
- Maintain cleanliness and presentability of customer areas
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Possess excellent listening and communication skills
Possess an outgoing and positive personality
Possess computer literacy skills
Possess strong math skills with the ability to handle financial transactions
Possess a professional appearance in keeping with Van Bortel Standards
Possess a punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment
- Possess previous retail cashier and customer service experience preferred
Possess a valid drivers license and clean driving record with dependable transportation to work
