Your contribution to Prysmians Success:
We are looking for a Operational Purchasing Buyer to join our team in Middlesbrough. Reporting to the Operational Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for:
Applications are welcome from recent qualified graduates with Procurement / Purchasing experience. A training programme will be tailored to suit the individual with a progression route for their career progression within the team.
Develop update and execute the procurement plan within the assigned commodities related to HV installation perimeter
Manage the procurement plan guaranteeing compliance with budget timing contractual requirements; Drafting bidder lists analyzing offers negotiating prices and discussing contractual conditions with the support of internal clients departments
Identify saving and improvement opportunities in terms of costs process quality service etc.
Promote Purchasing early involvement and support; Implement purchasing procedures and processes;
Scout the market to expand suppliers basis for strategic commodities; Perform spent analysis and market evaluation;
You are the right fit if you have/are:
Ideally hold previous experience within Purchasing function;
Preferably experience developed into multinational companies;
Determined enthusiast and committed to manage complexity and challenges;
Excellent team building attitude;
Good communication skills and strategic mindset;
Proficiency in English Italian is a plus;
Familiar with SAP system.
