Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Valid Oregon TSPC License with proper endorsements or ability to obtain prior to position start date.
- Standards of moral character as required of all Oregon licensed educators (OAR
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to applicants with
- Reading Endorsement or training in the Science of Reading
- Strong understanding of early elementary math concepts and strategies
- Knowledge of Assessment Tools Experience using assessments to track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
Personal Traits:
- Strong Understanding of Child Development Knowledge of both academic and socialemotional needs of young learners.
- Curriculum & Lesson Planning Expertise Ability to create engaging standardsaligned instruction.
- Effective Classroom Management Strategies to foster a structured and positive learning environment.
- Patience & Flexibility Ability to support students at varying developmental and academic levels
- Strong Communication & Collaboration Engaging effectively with students families and colleagues.
