The Technical Project Manager reports to the Director of Analytics in our data analytics department. The Technical Project Manager will effectively manage several concurrent medium to large core team projects and crossfunctional stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle to ensure the successful completion of activities for designated products systems or services. Effective management is achieved by using industrystandard practices proven processes and abundant communication. Job functions include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with customers to gather and analyze requirements for system and process enhancements.
- Maintain positive relationships with team members and customers ensuring effective communication and task accountability.
- Facilitate complex meetings mediate team conflicts and propose innovative solutions.
- Align activities with Community Health Networks mission and goals providing clear updates on project risks issues and progress.
- Utilize analytical tools for problemsolving and manage smallerscope analytic requests.
- Communicate effectively manage for results and develop team performance capabilities.
- Operate across boundaries maintain skills and display personal commitment and integrity.
- Follow established procedures act responsibly and demonstrate flexibility.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
A noteworthy differentiator of this position is that the role requires technical expertise as a prerequisite for acceptance into the position as this role will be leading and guiding technical functions statisticians business intelligence analysts and developers as well as data architects. The ability to speak technical lingo and effectively translate that language to business needs is critical.
- Bachelors Degree in business clinical or information technology or related field.
- In lieu of the above education requirements a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- If a clinical degree is held one must maintain certifications and/or licensure in that clinical area.
- Three 3 or more years of projectrelated experience obtained by successfully leading medium to large projects or equivalent experience in analytics is required.
- One 1 or more years of experience serving in a technical position as a statistician business intelligence analyst developer or a data architect is required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) and Epic certification within one 1 year from the date of hire is required.
- Other technical areas of expertise may also be considered.
- Exhibit leadership strategic thinking customer focus and teamwork.
- Demonstrate strong verbal/written communication organizational skills and selfmotivation with minimal supervision.
- Foundational knowledge of statistics experience and visualization tools.
