Job Description
Job Description: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Night Shift Only
Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for our night shift team. This position requires a commitment to three 12hour shifts per week for a minimum of 13 weeks. We have six openings available for this crucial role in providing exceptional patient care.
Work Schedule:
- Shifts: Night Shift Only
- Commitment: 3 x 12hour shifts weekly
- Duration: Minimum of 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Standard Nursing Procedures: Carry out standard nursing procedures as ordered by healthcare providers.
- Patient Education: Provide healthrelated education tailored to patient needs.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and complete related pharmacological procedures accurately and safely.
- Data Collection: Collect data for the assessment of care needs report findings and implement appropriate nursing interventions under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or healthcare provider.
- Patient Monitoring: Monitor patient progress report outcomes and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Documentation: Complete and process all required documentation in a comprehensive and objective manner.
Qualifications:
- Licensing: Must provide a copy of a current valid unrestricted license as an LPN issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing or a participating Compact State.
- Verification: Must provide a copy of a current completed PSV from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing obtained via Nursys.
- Fit Testing: Must provide a copy of current completed fit testing for N95 particulate respirators.
- First Aid Certification: Must provide a copy of current completed First Aid Certification.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of past work experience as an LPN.
