Primary Purpose
Under the direct supervision of the Vocational Services Director the T/C Consumer Support Staff Clean Sweep Enclave will provide on and offsite support to the Clean Sweep Enclave and Employment Recovery Services program.
Essential Functions
Perform and supervise litter duties for up to 12 individuals. This includes but is not limited to: Physically walk designated route with Clean Sweep Enclave on a weekly schedule. Train staff on cleaning maintaining and appropriately storing equipment after each shift. Train staff on all safety rules including wearing designated safety uniforms and footwear collecting and disposing of nonhazard material and correctly using safety equipment during shift. Maintain a neat and orderly storage unit. Ensure all supplies and safety gear are stocked. Complete individual work assessments. Use computer and software applications to accurately type and document data. Report data to direct supervisor on a quarterly basis. Identify concerns or issues that may develop at the worksite. Hold weekly and monthly enclave meetings as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
Twelve 12 months of volunteer or paid experience in a mental health related field. Applicant must currently be receiving services from San Joaquin County Behavioral Health Services. Ability to pass background/sanction checks for the funding agency(ies).
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Wrap Facilitator. Ability to follow oral and written instruction. Ability to learn and adhere to university procedures involving the handling of cleaning agents or potentially hazardous materials. Ability to effectively present information in oneonone and small group situations. Positive attitude proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice equity and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
Work Schedule
Position is scheduled Monday Wednesday and Friday for a total of 6 hours per week.
