Job Title: Project Manager ServiceNow Implementation
Location: Sacramento CA area
Job Type: Full Time
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead ServiceNow implementation projects across IT Service Management (ITSM) IT Asset Management (ITAM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing ServiceNow projects aligning business objectives with technical solutions and ensuring seamless within scope budget and timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan execute and oversee ServiceNow implementation projects ensuring adherence to scope schedule and budget.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements objectives and deliverables.
Work closely with technical teams business analysts and endusers to drive project success.
Manage project risks issues and dependencies while ensuring effective communication across teams.
Provide leadership in project governance reporting and stakeholder management.
Ensure compliance with best practices industry standards and company policies.
Lead and facilitate project meetings including status updates risk assessments and change management discussions.
Drive adoption and continuous improvement in ServiceNow processes and functionalities.
Provide education to the client on ITIL best practices.
Oversee the configuration and deployment of ITSM ITAM and ITOM modules within the ServiceNow platform.
Coordinate integration efforts between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications.
Track project deliverables and milestones while ensuring alignment with business goals.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage testing validation and golive activities.
Support change management initiatives to drive user adoption and ensure a smooth transition.
Provide postimplementation support and continuous optimization of ServiceNow processes.
Required Qualifications:
5 years of experience managing IT projects for ServiceNow ITSM ITAM and ITOM implementations.
Handson experience with ServiceNow ITSM ITAM and ITOM modules.
Strong understanding of Agile Waterfall and Hybrid project management methodologies.
Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
Preferred Certifications (one or more of the following):
PMP (Project Management Professional)
Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) ITSM ITAM or ITOM
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of the ITIL framework and best practices
Experience in largescale IT service transformation projects.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Experience working with crossfunctional teams and external vendors.
