You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailBrahmavid The Global School based in the Heart of Chhattisgarh Raipur immediately requires a Mess Manager to ensure smooth operations and maintenance of Annapurna Kitchen.
Roles and Responsibilities
Efficient management of the Annapurna kitchen which caters breakfast lunch snacks and dinner for up to 1000 pupils (Students and Staff) and accommodates 100 livein members.
Managing a team of 40 ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Efficient management of functions hospitality and events.
Ensuring that we deliver highquality service.
Control and monitor the financial performance of the unit and maintain costs within prebudgeted targets.
Ensure all food is prepared to a high standard as per service level agreement and organisation policy.
Establish and maintain satisfactory professional relationships with individuals at all levels of organisations.
Implement and maintain the Statutory and organisation standards of hygiene health and safety and take any action as necessary.
Should check daily stock of the Annapurna store and arrange for the procurement of the required items from approved vendors only.
The manager shall verify both the quality and quantity of items being supplied by the vendors and any discrepancy found should be immediately reported to the concerned person.
The manager should frequently review the budget and shall be held accountable for any deficit in the mess budget.
Keep a watch over the cleanliness of the Annapurna Hall and the kitchen and the food prepared.
Should conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and the Annapurna Hall especially when the school members take their meals.
Should enforce discipline and decorum in the Annapurna Hall.
Check and certify the bills received from suppliers with reference to the stock register.
Should investigate cases of shortage/excess of stores.
Ensure that stores are kept in good and efficient condition.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in the relevant field.
At least 36 years of experience in a similar capacity within the Corporate / Hotel Restaurant Cafe industry.
Must be willing to work from 8 AM to 8 PM shift Mondays to Saturdays (Sometimes Sundays).
Good financial awareness.
Excellent communication skills and ability to build good professional relationships with vendors and staff.
Experience in managing a team within a catering environment.
Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety.
