Job Description
Description of the role:
The Receptionist at Brandon Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and administrative support to the dealership. As the first point of contact for customers the Receptionist represents the company and creates a positive impression for visitors and callers. This position requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment. **This is a parttime position hours will vary and Saturdays will be required.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet customers and visitors offering assistance and directing them to the appropriate department
- Answer and route incoming phone calls to the appropriate person or department
- Operate a multiline telephone system taking and delivering messages as needed
- Handle customer inquiries and provide accurate information about products services and promotions
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar for various departments
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing photocopying and data entry
- Assist with organizing and coordinating meetings and events
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in operating a multiline telephone system
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong computer skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Flexible schedule including Saturdays evenings & holidays
