You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailMonitor and lead all aspects of a WINGS resale stores daily operations and ensures administration of store policies and procedures. The manager is in charge of meeting profitability goals through excellent merchandising selling and pricing of donations. Supervise paid staff and volunteers rolls up sleeves to be part of the team. Strive for innovative solutions and alternatives in bettering the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a positive professional work environment
Motivate sales staff/volunteers to achieve net profitability goals
Ensure staff and volunteers are trained and have the resources to perform their jobs
Perform daily inspections of all store departments to ensure standards in visual presentation stock replenishment and housekeeping are maintained
Hold staff accountable for following WINGS and Store policies and procedures; and when applicable process corrective action in a timely fashion at the request of and in the absence of the Director of Resale Operations
Provide excellent communications within the store
Ensure communications from WINGS Main Office and Resale Management are delivered to all staff in a timely fashion
Plan and conduct regular store staff/volunteer meetings
Provide weekly report of trainings and scheduling to the Director of Resale Operations
During weekly supervision inform Director of Resale Operations of any problems or issues with staff and/or volunteers
At least once a month meet with each staff member to review goals and processes
Conduct employee reviews
Oversee store Volunteers
Coordinate with the Agency Community Resources Department to recruit Volunteers
Obtain Volunteer commitments for the monthly schedule
Establish specific goals/items for the Volunteers and Community Service Workers to execute daily as well as for those who come in during nonscheduled times
Assess Volunteer needs and increase Volunteer retention
Create a callonshortnotice log to be used for staffing shortages and unplanned events.
Maintain organized Volunteer job aids for store operations
Create and maintain attractive displays and merchandising techniques while maximizing the use of floor space and schedule regular rotation of displays and merchandise
Maintain consistent pricing with the other WINGS stores per pricing from the Logistics Center
Donor and Customer Interactions
Supervise Donor interactions including gratitude expressions
Supervise Donation processing techniques and encourage processing improvements
Supervise Customer interactions throughout the store and at the register
Complete on a timely basis all administrative work as assigned by the Director of Resale Store Operations
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Resale Store Operations
2 years of retail management experience which includes customer service
Associates Degree required bachelors degree preferred

Comfortable with technology both general computer and point of sale systems
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays and weekends
Ability to handle physical requirements to accomplish daily responsibilities including but not limited to lifting up to 35 pounds using both hands/arms on a regular basis and standing for 8 hours
