Job Description

Junior varsity coach sought for girls lacrosse program. The junior varsity coach is responsible for all aspects of the junior varsity program and works with the varsity coach to develop future players for the varsity program.Hiring is subject to satisfactory CORI and SAFIS background checks as required by 603 CMR 51Must have CPR/AED First Aid Concussion and MIAA Coaches Education certifications prior to appointment to the position.. Complies with school and MIAA policies and regulations Complies with school and District/League policies and regulations Works cooperatively with the school staff Relates positively to parents and other community representatives Completes required records and reports with promptness and accuracy Assumes responsibility for the care of equipment and facilities Assumes responsibility for a safe environment for studentathletes Models positive behaviors especially with regard to sportsmanship and the alcohol tobacco and drug rules Coordinates staff organization May delegates staff assignments to assistant coaches Develops and organizes a practice program May evaluates assistant coaches and playing personnel Plans and develops game responsibilities May conduct and analyze scouting reports Assists studentathletes in college advancement Maintains and inventories all equipment and supplies May perform other duties as needed
