A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities using our CMMS for equipment maintenance and calibrations.
- Attend productions planning meeting to ensure downtime for needed equipment.
- Run department metrics on a daily basis for job completion and YTD compliance.
- Prepare job kits ensuring all parts are ordered reserved and available.
- Identifies safety quality and regulatory requirements for maintenance activities.
- Prioritizes work orders and maintenance requests based on risks costs resource availability and equipment accessibility.
- Estimates labor and material costs for management approval.
KEYS TO SUCCESS:
- Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to determine priorities and manage multiple tasks successfully.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams to implement solutions.
EDUCATION
- Diploma / GED with Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of a Bachelors degree required
- Bachelors degree in a technical field with a major concentration in Engineering Technology or Industry Engineering is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- 5 years experience in maintenance planning.
- 5 years using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Background in engineering or industrial maintenance.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES
- Solid grasp of standard methodologies for maintenance.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to develop and follow maintenance plans and schedules.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds standing for extended periods and working in various industrial environments.
