Job Description
Summary
The Janitor at Mural Apartments 90 units) is responsible for daily weekly and monthly tasks associated with cleaning and repair of the overall property and individual resident units. Maintenance staff are expected to maintain BRIDGE Property Management Companys high standards in order to present the property in outstanding condition and to provide residents with a safe secure and wellmaintained living environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean designated internal and external building areas including common areas and vacant units
- Complete daily weekly and monthly tasks according to propertyspecific task list
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Notify management of deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Make adjustments and minor repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Work with maintenance supervisor and/or outside vendors to fulfill work orders
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of prior experience in janitor work preferably in an apartment or residential setting
- Ability to work with and around people in a positive and cooperative manner
- Knowledge of and demonstrated skills in handling cleaning and maintenance equipment
