SCOPE OF POSITION:
The purpose of this role is to extract manage and organize salesrelated data and report on KPIs for management and field staff. Reporting of key metrics along with visualization of historical trends in a consumable format are created and maintained using a variety of reporting and analytics tools and software (Microsoft Excel Powerpoint Power Query Power BI MS Access Looker Tableau etc). The Sales Analyst is expected to provide insights with regards to results trends gaps countermeasures and forecasting to help drive business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Extract and organize monthend data for sales and products and update databases and reports. Tasks are completed starting at the beginning of the month and mostly completed during the first 10 business days.
- Perform analysis and presentations showing datadriven insights to help achieve business objectives and explain historical results.
- Support monthly Pricing strategy meetings by developing datadriven proposals which demonstrate an understanding of the competitive marketplace and which support achievement of HCFIs contract targets.
- Adhoc reporting as required by other departments management or field staff.
- Improve upon existing data structures and reports. Create new monthly reports when necessary.
- Prepare files for the next month including updating targets and Daily Dashboard.
- Complete Daily Dashboard and other adhoc daily/weekly reports as needed.
- Complete midmonth reforecast and quarterly forecasting for treasury and corporate planning.
QUALIFICATIONS
- College Diploma in Business.
- 2 years of related job experience.
- Microsoft Excel Microsoft Power Point Microsoft Access Tableau presentations organizing data visualizing Data analyzing trends.
- Deductive reasoning logical analytical flexible attention to detail problemsolving independent communication presentation innovative adaptable organized math.
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with all members of the team.
- Develops and maintains good working relationships within Honda North America as well as all other internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop establish and maintain good working relationship with Honda North America suppliers partners consultants stakeholders and other network contact.
