What does the role look like
Were seeking a strategic leader to lead complex crossfunctional programmes across our Actuation Systems business. In this role you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a multitude of project types spanning the full lifecycle ensuring alignment with business objectives managing executive and customer expectations and mentoring a team of project managers.
Were looking for someone who can bring a strong foundation in problemsolving risk management and stakeholder engagement coupled with a deep understanding of change management processes.
What will your daytoday responsibilities look like
- Lead the planning and of a multitude of projects spanning the aerospace product lifecycle
- Drive effective problemsolving proactively identifying and mitigating programme risks and issues.
- Lead and develop a team of Project Managers and coordinate multiple work streams across departments and business units.
- Act as the primary interface for executive leadership and OEM customers ensuring transparency trust and timely communication.
- Oversee the implementation of change management strategies to support programme delivery and organizational alignment.
- Apply a high level of emotional intelligence to manage crossfunctional teams navigate organizational dynamics and influence without authority.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering Quality Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure programme success.
- Drive Aerospace qualification and certification processes when applicable ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer standards.
What will you bring to the role
Essential skills:
- Excellent understanding of risk and change management frameworks and their practical application
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders and OEMlevel customers
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) with excellent interpersonal negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Desirable skills:
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
- Proven ability in risk management and quality assurance.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit train and mentor programme management staff in forming high performance teams
- Proficiency in identifying assessing and managing programme risks.
