Job Description
Fortinet is offering you an exciting opportunity to join our Fortiguard Advanced Research Team in Vancouver. You will meet the real world with security threats of malware vulnerabilities and supply chain attacks while working together with the team to address these challenges in order to make the world a safer place.
Work as a researcher to support security products while building your expertise in vulnerability analysis and application security.
Job Responsibilities:
- Hunt for threats and produce threat intelligence data by research and analysis;
- Build tools and systems to conduct research and development;
- Analyze vulnerabilities and create test cases;
- Cooperate with developers on security products maintained by our team.
Job Skills Required:
- Experience and understanding of software programming languages (Python Java);
- Experience and understanding of Intel x86/x64 assembly language is an asset;
- Experience with multiple languages (C/C JavaScript Go PHP Dotnet Ruby Rust) is an asset;
- Fast learner with a cando attitude;
- Team worker with good ability of communication;
- Proven analytical and problemsolving skills.
Educational Requirements:
- Diploma of Technology or Bachelors of Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering.

The Canada base salary range for this fulltime position is expected to be between $80000 $100000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market job type and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidates subject knowledge skill level qualifications and experience.
