Position Description: TheDepartment of Neurologyis seeking aNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantto support theNeuroOncologyservices in an outpatient setting located in Milwaukee Wisconsin atFroedtert Hospital and the Cancer Center. This program is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of primary brain tumors as well as neurological complications of cancer. Dr. Jennifer Connelly and Dr. Eunji Yim are part of a multidisciplinary team that provides care for neurooncological patients through collaboration with oncological experts in the Departments of Neurosurgery Radiation Oncology Medical Oncology Neuropathology and Neuroradiology. TheAdvanced Practice Provider(APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration patient care patient safety research quality improvement and teaching. The APP would join two existing neurooncology APPs who have combined 8 years of neurooncology experience. The three neurooncology APPs will rotate between outpatient neurooncology clinic 2 weeks) and the inpatient neurooncology consult service 1 week). TheIdeal Candidateis looking to be part of a thriving and very collaborative academic practice at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Flexibility required to provide an appropriate level of patient care coverage. Additional expectation for occasional travel to community locations: Menomonee Falls Cancer Center & Drexel Town Square Center location.

Position Requirements: Preferred Experience: Advanced practice providers with oncology experience preferred. Minimum Education: Advanced Practice Nurse:Masters Degree or higher in Nursing Minimum Requirements: *or eligible Advanced Practice Nurse Physician Assistant
Physician Assistant:Bachelors Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies
Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner Wisconsin Physician Assistant License
Wisconsin RN License Certification by NCCPA
Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License AHA ACLS AHA BLS DEA
Adult or Geriatric preferred; FNP considered
