Position: SubstituteGeneral Education Aide (Lunch/Recess(Retired School Employee)
Work Year:Ten Months (August through May)
Work Days: Monday Friday (School Calendar for Students)
School Schedule:Elementary Daily Schedule 8:45 a.m. 3:45 p.m.; Secondary Daily Schedule 7:30 a.m. 2:30 p.m.
Hourly Rate:$13.75/hour
Duration of Position:TBD
Schedule: 2.5 hours/day

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to coordinate hands eyes feet and limbs in performing movements to monitor the behavior and assist multiple students at one time. The employee is required to be ontheir feet walking around the cafeteria and playground/gymnasium for the duration of each shift. The employee is required to exert light to medium physical effort in work involving wiping down cafeteria tables carrying pushing walking standing reaching with hands and arms balancing stooping kneeling or crouching to assist students. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision distant vision and ability to adjust focus.

The work environment characteristics described herein are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment involves the employee being indoorswithin controlled climate conditions and outdoors which will include varying weather conditions for purposes of accomplishing the essential functions of this job.
