Job Summary:

Reality Capture and SurveyTechnician will be responsible for capturing site conditions using survey equipmentlidar scanners and other photogrammetry equipment perform scan processing scan registering tasks and perform web viewer software related tasks back at the office.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Visit job sites such as petrochemical plants architectural renovation and construction sites and other commercial buildings to perform reality capture tasks using survey equipment such as a Total Station lidar and/or photogrammetry equipment such as terrestrial scanners mobile scanners andhandheld scanners.
• Set up job sites with targets survey site plan equipment placement and capture properties accordingly with the job scope demands.
• Upon completion of reality capture perform data upload processing and registration tasks at the office using software such as Faro Scene Leica Register 360 Autodesk ReCap and/or NavVis Ivion.
• Manipulate web viewers to setup remote viewing by the clients.
• Ensure all equipment are cleanedhave charged batteries and usable memory cards/drives for scanner operation once back at the office.
• Archive/backup scan data after finalizing reality capture job scope.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Previous experience with Faro Scene Cyclone Leica Register 360 LFM Autodesk ReCap and/or NavVis Ivion is beneficial.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

• Associate and/or bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Previous reality capture and/or surveying experience isrequired.
• Minimum of 3 years experience

Physical Requirements:

Comfortable with prolonged periods of desk work for scan processing.

Ability to walk job sites carrying scanning equipment for extended periods if needed.

Capability to climb ladders and stairs while carrying scanning devices if needed.

Ability to lift up to 60 lbs for loading/unloading equipment if needed.

Must adhere to all client site safety requirements if candidate is sent to the field.

TWIC card required for access to restricted sites if needed.
