Job Description

Minimum Qualifications
M.S. in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related discipline. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Interest in teaching introductory and/or lowerdivision computer science courses The ability to work fulltime on the Stockton Campus starting in January 2025.

Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related discipline. Experience teaching computer programming. Ability to contribute to upperdivision undergraduate courses and graduate courses in the MS Computer Science program. Awareness aptitude and commitment to contribute towards Pacifics mission to provide a superior studentcentered learning experience Experience and/or awareness towards Pacifics goals surrounding diversity equity and inclusion. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice equity and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
