Job Description
Welcome to a medical center where youre the center of attention.
Pay range:
$27.74 $38.39Per diem / Variable / 4 shifts per month required
Clinic hours 7 days a week / 7am to 11pm
Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking aparttime Certified Medical Assistant to join our Urgent Care Clinic in Sammamish. Job responsibilities include greeting and preparing patients for the healthcare practitioner obtaining vital signs preparing patients for routine and specialty procedures providing inbasket support and documenting patient interactions via electronic medical record.
Qualifications
Medical Assistant:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards required.
- Medical Assistant Certification (MAC) or Interim MAC through WA State DOH required(the latter must obtain regular MAC within 6months of hire).
- Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
- Experience with EMR applications EPIC preferred.
Licensed Practical Nurse:
- Graduate of a licensed practical nurse program or previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards required.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) through WA State DOH required.
- Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
- Experience with EMR applications EPIC preferred.
- One year of clinic experience preferred.
