We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to drive business growth manage key accounts and expand our presence in the European market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales business development and market expansion within the wind energy sector.
Position: Sr. Manager International Business Development (Europe Market)
Location: Thane Mumbai
Qualification: Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Automotive preferred) from Tier 1/2 colleges (MBA a plus)
Experience: Minimum 10 years with significant experience in component sales to Wind Energy customers and business development within the sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Existing OEMs
- Maximize business with existing Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) by managing monthly schedules.
- Handle global RFQ (Request for Quote) coordination to increase share of business.
- Oversee costing including creation and management.
- Conduct monthly reviews to analyze schedule changes.
- Expand OEM portfolio by introducing applications like foundation and nacelle components.
- Utilize CRM for active tracking of deals meetings and schedules.
Business Development New OEMs
- Identify and target new OEMs through network relationships and LinkedIn outreach.
- Define business scope and establish meetings with new clients.
- Manage RFQ receipt and work collaboratively on business cases with clients.
- Track RFQ costing and quotes engaging in negotiations to secure contracts.
- Oversee qualification processes following commercial agreements.
Business Development Market Research
- Research and connect with global contacts within Wind OEMs through clients networks or exhibitions.
- Lead participation in wind energy exhibitions in India and Europe including stall design and event .
- Identify additional global exhibitions for enhanced brand visibility.
New Product Development (NPD)
- Identify new product opportunities to expand offerings for existing clients through manufacturing or service enhancements.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Sales: Achieve annual revenue targets through existing business and new developments.
- Business Development: Secure future sales targets for the next two fiscal years within current product lines.
- NPD: Identify 23 new products for inclusion in the companys portfolio
